Role Description This is a part-time, remote Licensed Therapist role located in Orange County, CA. The Licensed Therapist will provide individual outpatient psychotherapy to adult and/or adolecent clients, conducting comprehensive intake assessments, developing collaborative treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions aligned with ACT, person-centered, and trauma-informed practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining a consistent caseload, documenting sessions and progress notes in a timely and compliant manner, coordinating care with other medical and behavioral health providers, and participating in case consultation as needed. The therapist will uphold ethical standards, maintain appropriate boundaries, and ensure culturally responsive, inclusive care for clients from diverse backgrounds. The role also involves supporting client engagement through follow-up, referrals, and collaboration with the wider Tune Therapy team.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted clinical license in California (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist) in good standing, with eligibility to provide independent outpatient psychotherapy.
- Demonstrated experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults, with strong skills in evidence-based modalities such as ACT, CBT, and trauma-informed care.
- Ability to conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with legal, ethical, and clinical standards.
- Commitment to multiculturally informed, person-centered practice, with demonstrated cultural humility and the ability to work effectively with diverse identities and backgrounds.
- Strong professional communication skills, including clear verbal communication with clients and collaborative providers, and concise, accurate clinical writing.
- Comfort collaborating with medical and behavioral health providers and participating in coordinated, holistic care for clients.
- Proficiency with basic technology, electronic health records, and secure communication platforms used in clinical practice.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant mental health field (e.g., Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology) from an accredited institution.
- Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries, manage time effectively, and work with a part-time, scheduled
