We're seeking a skilled and passionate individual to become a valued member of our expanding team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Planner & Purchasing Associate to assist in coordinating the procurement of materials and optimizing inventory levels to meet production demands. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of supply chain management principles.

Key Responsibilities
- Place purchase orders in a timely manner, considering lead times, production schedules, and inventory targets.
- Manage customer purchase orders from the front-end CRM through to production.
- Oversee local supply chain procurement, ensuring timely ordering, tracking, and delivery to meet customer installation deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date account records, ensure timely payment of bills, and establish accounts with new suppliers as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and track usage patterns to identify potential shortages or excesses.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive demand plans to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other factors to accurately predict future demand
- Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with suppliers to address any supply chain disruptions and implement contingency plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members or departments to address complex customer concerns
- Escalate unresolved matters to higher-level management when necessary
- Generate reports and documents as requested
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving
- Provide feedback on processes to innovate our approaches at all times
- Manage other relevant responsibilities as they arise based on team discussions
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets required
- Prior experience in supply chain purchasing essential
- Background in developing or overseeing inventory systems
- Experience with managing inventory and executing planning models
- 2-4 years of planning experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- Proficient in Google Workplace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides), especially Sheets
- Analytically-minded but also able to talk personably and articulately
- Experience working with complicated spreadsheets a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional and collaborative demeanor

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at times
- Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods at trade shows
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust and noise

Pay
- $57,784-$70,000
