Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and implement manufacturing plans.
- Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Develop and implement manufacturing plans and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
- Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining the program architecture for build.
- Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability aligns with requirements.
- Analyze design and build concepts to evaluate producible design and build definitions.
- Resolve and implement technical solutions to problems that significantly impact performance, cost, or schedule.
- Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
- Implement lean principles and technologies.
Work Authorization
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person,” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15, is required. “U.S. Person” includes a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Work Environment
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET-accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, along with applicable experience in a professional exempt engineering classification.
- 5 years of engineering experience related to aerospace value stream activities, including production testing, electrical subsystems, aircraft interiors, and other aircraft systems.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- 5 years of experience in production planning, including ownership of value stream build plans.
- Experience with commercial aerospace systems, build plans, production testing, electrical installations, and/or aircraft interiors.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a diverse and demanding work environment and schedule.
