Overview:
Tummy Time Academy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant interested in a career that schedules around your life, works with families, and brings out your inner child and creativity.
As an early intervention PTA, you'll be helping children ages 0-3 and teach families on how they can help their child achieve their established goals!
What Your Day with Tummy Time Academy Would Look Like:
- Providing physical therapy to children ages 0-3 years old at their everyday settings (i.e. family's home, daycare, playground, library) using toys and furniture at that location under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Travel to location of session (family's home, daycare, playground, library).
- Based on the plan of care established by the physical therapist:
- Reflecting with family on progress since last session.
- Reviewing exercises & activities from the physical therapist through play.
- Problem solving with families on how they can fit these activities into their daily routines.
- Sharing and reviewing the session note with family and physical therapist using family-friendly language incorporated at the end of session.
- Collaborate with the physical therapist and be part of the child's multi-disciplinary team to help them grow and achieve their goals!
- High compensation - $48.16 per billable hour

- Certificate of Authority or ability to verify at least 2,000 hours of licensed physical therapy assistant experience
- Active driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass required background checks
