Job Description
The Material Handler II's primary responsibility is to keep parts stocked to repair Tumi products.
- Process parts orders as well as assist sewers and framers with parts used on floor
- Process orders by printing the order, pulling the order, and shipping the order
- Ensure all orders are correctly pulled and shipping
- Maintain forklift/pallet jack by following a maintenance check list
- Provide good housekeeping procedures
- Restock parts from the floor that is surplus
- Organized and reorganized new, existing, and obsolete stock
- Excellent attendance and performance
- Interface with other group leads, supervision, customer service and consumer affairs
- Use of different tools: Forklift/pallet jack certified, PVC bender, US mail stamp machine, jigsaw, burning iron, hammer, screwdriver, pliers, wrenches, wire cutters, grinder, air gun, mallet, stapler, punch and box cutter
- Adhere to companies attendance policy
- Other duties may be assigned.

- Education and/or Experience: High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Knowledge: Basic Math Skills and Basic Measuring Skills. Typing and computer skills. Knowledge of UPS shipping practice
