JOB PURPOSE: The Afterschool Academic Tutor will support Yupiit School District in providing tutoring for students.
This position is grant funded, and there is a possibility that it will not be funded or available after the Term of Service.
Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Must pass a background
- Provide afterschool tutoring and academic assistance for students
- Maintain accurate records for student participation, including student sign-in sheets and staff time and effort sheets.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills. (Required)
- Able to connect will to students of all ages. (Required)
- Ability to understand basic reading, math, and Language Arts
- Ability to work well without direct supervision, as well as in a team
- Ability to cultivate and maintain good relationships with a variety of different
- Self-managing, flexible, adaptable, enjoys challenge (Required)
