Position Summary
The High School Admissions Representative serves as a primary point of contact for prospective high school students and their families, supporting them as they explore and evaluate post-secondary education options in the skilled trades.
This role is responsible for building relationships, conducting outreach, and guiding prospective students from initial interest through enrollment. The position is field-based, with the majority of time spent visiting high schools, attending recruitment events, and engaging students and families within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
Student Engagement & Outreach
Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families throughout the admissions process
Conduct outreach via phone, email, text, and virtual meetings to engage prospective students
Represent the institution at high schools, career fairs, information sessions, and recruitment activities
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, families, school counselors, and community partners
Admissions & Enrollment Support
Support prospective students in making informed decisions about their education and career pathways
Manage a pipeline of prospective students from initial contact through enrollment
Use a consultative approach to understand individual student needs, interests, and motivations
Accurately and compliantly present program offerings, campus features, and career outcomes
Conduct all admissions activities with the highest integrity, adhering to state, federal, and company policies
Performance & Outcomes
Consistently achieve recruitment and enrollment targets
Track and report on prospective student engagement and enrollment outcomes
Forecast incoming students to support class capacity and planning needs
Maintain accurate and timely records of all interactions and activities within the CRM system
Collaboration & Student Success
Work closely with admissions teammates and internal departments to ensure a positive student experience
Participate in follow-up activities with prospective and enrolled students as appropriate
Attend required events, including orientations and semi annual graduation ceremonies

Travel & Schedule Expectations
This is a field-based role requiring approximately 60–90% local and regional travel
Evening and occasional weekend work may be required based on school schedules and recruitment events
Representatives must be comfortable managing a flexible schedule and multiple student relationships simultaneously

Expected Experience & Background
1–3 years of experience in admissions, higher education, student services, recruitment, or a similarly goal-driven, relationship-focused role
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of interactions while maintaining a personalized, student-centered approach
Experience working toward measurable performance goals (e.g., enrollment, retention, engagement, or service outcomes)
Strong communication skills, including the ability to guide individuals through complex decisions
Experience using CRM systems or related tools to track interactions and progress is preferred
