A Tulsa-based fabrication company for the process piping industry and the manufacturing of meter houses is looking for a well-qualified Structural Fitter Welder.
$24 per hour based on experience. Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm
3G Plate Test, MIG/Flux Combo Weld on 3/4" Plate W/O run off tabs. You be required to cut/prep, and fit all of your own materials as well as weld them out. Be able to work with steel siding or "R-Panel. Must be able to make adjustments on the fly as needed and can think on their feet if issues come up in Fabrication. to be able to work with steel siding or R-Panel as it is called.
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with welding, sheet metal work, and construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and understand blueprints and welding symbols
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes
- Fit and weld components using various welding techniques
- Operate power tools and equipment such as grinders, saws, and drills
- Utilize a press brake machine to bend sheet metal
- Conduct quality checks on completed workpieces using calipers and other measuring tools
- Rig and build metal components according to project specifications
Qualifications
- Proficiency in welding techniques and sheet metal fabrication
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret codes standards and blueprints
- Competency in basic math for measurements and calculations
