Education
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master of Library Science (MLS), Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Librarianship degree or the equivalent from an accredited college-level library program (Preferred) or
- Masters degree in any subject and at least one of the following:
- Thirty (30) or more coursework hours related to library/media
- Fifteen (15) or more coursework hours related to library/media and one (1) year of relevant work experience
- Three (3) or more years of library/media related work experience and a letter from the district
- Enrolled in a Library Media or School Librarian certification program or
- Bachelors degree and enrolled in a Master of Library Science (MLS), Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Librarianship, or the equivalent
- Previous experience working in a library or media related organization
- Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a valid Oklahoma Library Media Specialist certificate or waiver from OSDE
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
