What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Tulsa Heaters Inc?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the a provided budget, timeline, and scope. They will ultimately be responsible for projects after receipt of PO through shipment.
Responsibilities
- Manage project timeline and budget
- Maintain an open line of communication with customer and local inspection representative throughout project
- Update relevant management or team members on the project progress
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
- Develop purchasing requisitions for engineered equipment including, Burners, Air-Preheaters, Fans, Expansion Joints, etc..
- Interfacing with multiple disciplines of engineering, design drafting, inspection, document control, and sales.
- Managing sub vendors including heavy steel fabrication, refractory installation, coil welding, etc...
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Driven, self-motivated, individual capable of managing multiple projects
- Preference to applicants that have a working knowledge of customer specifications typical to the oil and gas industry, including but not limited to API560, API936, AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3, etc...
