Bilingual Admissions Specialist (Spanish)

The Admissions Specialist at Tulsa Educare is responsible for reviewing inquiry forms for our school and child care partners, partnering with parents to have complete paperwork, accurately determining eligibility, and partnering with the schools and child care partners to fill their open enrollment spots. Tulsa Educare is seeking an Admissions Specialist who will make the commitment to perform with integrity and model these essential qualities:

• Responsible for processing complete inquiry forms and determining eligibility
• Talk with families about the program options and partner with them to ensure inquiry forms are complete and accurate
• Document required information in our ChildPlus system and work to best use the system
• Analyze current enrollment, identify the enrollment needs, and regularly communicate these needs to leadership
• Work to continuously improve our inquiry and eligibility process so it is easy for families and effective for program
• Provide prompt and courteous response to inquiries from parents and colleagues
• Develop a waitlist system from which schools and child care partners select eligible applicants
• Maintain an internal transfer process for children whose families which to change programs 
• Use discretion and confidentiality in all matters
• Assists with other department work as needed
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Broad knowledge and experience in:

• Organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Developing collaborative partnerships and work in a team environment
• Balancing and prioritizing multiple projects and priorities and following through to completion
• MS Office skills, database software skills, organizational skills, efficiency skills and excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to completing assignments on a timely basis

• Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience or High School Diploma/G.E.D with 5-6 years of administrative assistant experience. 
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
• Experience working with parents on applications involving income preferred
• Position preferences: knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards on eligibility and enrollment requirements and ChildPlus Software
