JusticeLink: The nearly 16,000 Tulsans released from jail each year face critical barriers to accessing care, housing, work, and other services essential to getting back on their feet. Re-arrest and recidivism are common, as nearly 40% of all Tulsa County jail admissions represent people arrested multiple times in the year. Coordination and navigation challenges in Tulsa contribute to this problem as there are currently no standards for coordination between agencies and nonprofit.
JusticeLink acts as a collaborative, multi-agency network in a single location dedicated to providing coordinated, life-stabilizing services to justice-involved people navigating the criminal legal system.
Key Features Of JusticeLink Include
The Community Reception Coordinator will support the JusticeLink staff, guests, and clients. The Community Reception Coordinator has an important role in organizing, managing, and keeping the office running efficiently and comfortably. It is expected that JusticeLink will serve a large number of clients annually, and the Community Reception Coordinator will be the first point of contact when they visit the office.
JusticeLink is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional. The Community Reception Coordinator must be passionate about the mission of JusticeLink and committed to making clients and guests feel safe and welcome. We are looking for a person who enjoys engaging with people.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities

Essential Job Function
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: Previous experience with the criminal-legal system, impacted clients and/or engaging culturally diverse populations in social services is preferred. Lived experience navigating criminal justice systems also qualifies and is highly valued in this role.

Essential Job Function
- Create a trusting, comfortable, and inclusive environment that fosters partnership and continual engagement with individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
- Welcome and direct visitors and clients.
- Connect clients to co-located programs and providers.
- Dispense and track basic-need resources.
- Coordinate transportation for clients.
- Coordinate with Court Navigators.
- Responds to and resolves administrative inquiries and questions.
- Maintains office and program supplies and the accuracy of inventory.
- Coordinate the maintenance of the office structure and equipment with vendors.
- Assist in submitting and tracking expenses, invoices, and receipts.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings and maintain minutes.
- Research and collect information.
- Other duties as assigned, including those required to fulfill activities in support of JusticeLink operations.
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

- Ability to identify office tasks and issues and independently develop and implement solutions.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and managing the flow of clients.
- Operate: Constant operation of computers, phones, and other office productivity tools.
- Must reside locally in order to be on-site and serve clients in-person. This position is located at JusticeLink (211 West Archer St), in Tulsa, OK.
- Typical work hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 to 5:00, but flexibility required for various JusticeLink events or meetings that may occur evenings or weekends.
