Tullymore Golf Resort is now hiring individuals to join our team of outstanding housekeepers – a critical part the excellent customer have come to enjoy during their visit to Tullymore and St. Ives.
As a Housekeeper at Tullymore Golf Resort, you help to ensure that every guest enjoys a comfortable stay in our beautiful lodging facilities. We’re looking for people with great attention to detail and a desire to provide outstanding experiences to our guests.
Key Job Functions:
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Remove debris from driveways, garages, and swimming pool areas.
- Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
- Launder towels, and fold dried items. Sort, count, and mark clean linens, and store them in linen closets.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
- Move and arrange furniture, and turn mattresses.
- Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
- Prepare rooms for meetings, and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture for social or business functions.
- Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware.
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
Our Perfect Candidate:
Must have strong communication and time management skills. Must be able to work well within a team dynamic environment and have strong time management skills while maintaining a high level of customer service. No experience required. We are eager to train the right people to join our team.
Position Type and Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position, which averages between 20-40 hours per week, depending on availability and staffing needs. Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Physical & Other Demands:
Must be able to lift material that could weigh up to 20 pounds and move material that could weigh up to 50 pounds. This position involved working with chemicals/cleaning products.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
