Tully Hill is accepting applications for individuals to join our team of SUD Counselors. Will be responsible for providing supervision and care in accordance with Tully Hill policies to patients seeking inpatient treatment for substance use disorders. Job duties include performing essential counseling functions, conducting patient education regarding substance use disorders, group counseling, orientation activities, basis crisis response, conducting luggage and room searches, conducting safety and security rounds of the facility and grounds in accordance with established schedule, reporting and record keeping. Will work collaboratively with all departments to achieve the best outcomes for patients and families. Full Time Evening/Weekend Counselor. 40 hours. Will be scheduled Weekday Evening (12:30pm -9 or 1:30pm- 10pm) and Weekend Day (7:30am - 4pm or 8am - 4:30pm) / Evening (12:30pm -9 or 1:30pm- 10pm) shifts. Must have Saturday and/or Sunday availability. Part Time and Per Diem shifts also available.
Qualified individuals must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills and EMR skills required. Must ensure quality, timeliness and accuracy of documentation to ensure compliance with CARF standards, NYS regulations, other applicable State and Federal regulations, referral sources and insurance contract requirements. Associate’s degree in human services preferred. CASAC-Trainee, CASAC or other NYS QHP certification preferred. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorders and 12-Step philosophy preferred.

Salary Range - $18.00-24.00
The salary range is provided in accordance with NYS law and is based on Tully Hill’s good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting. Tully Hill considers factors including, but not limited to, the position and associated responsibilities, market and business considerations, as well as the candidate’s education/training, credentials, and work experience.
