SUD Counselor / Case Manager, Inpatient Program
Responsible for managing a caseload of patients seeking inpatient treatment for substance use disorder. Job duties include performing essential counseling functions including screening, intake, orientation, assessment, evaluation, intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education regarding substance use disorders, individual and group counseling, family and employer counseling, case management, reporting and record keeping and care coordination. Will work collaboratively with all departments to achieve the best outcomes for patients and families. CASAC-Trainee certification or above or other NYS Qualified Health Professional required. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorders and 12-step philosophy and OASAS regulations required. 3 years SUD treatment experience preferred. Full Time. Day Shift 8am – 4:30pm. Salary Range - $23.00 – 28.00/hour
SUD Counselor, Evening/Weekend
Responsible for providing supervision and care in accordance with Tully Hill policies to patients seeking inpatient treatment for substance use disorders. Job duties include performing essential counseling functions, conducting patient education regarding substance use disorder, group counseling, orientation activities, basic crisis response, conducting luggage and room searches, conducting safety and security rounds of the facility and grounds in accordance with established schedule, reporting and recordkeeping. Must be available to work weekday evenings and/or weekend shifts. Associate degree in human services preferred. CASAC-Trainee certification a plus. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorder and 12-Step philosophy preferred. Full Time or Part Time. Salary Range - $18.00-24.00
Counselor Assistant
Responsible for providing supervision and care in accordance with Tully Hill policies to patients seeking inpatient treatment for substance use disorder. Job duties include supervising patient activities, conducting patient education regarding substance use disorder, orientation activities, basis crisis response, conducting luggage and room searches, conducting safety and security rounds of the facility and grounds in accordance with established schedule, reporting and record keeping. Minimum HS diploma. Enrolled in 350 CASAC program. Completion of one-time training requirements upon hire. Full time or Part time. Must be available to work weekday evenings and/or weekend shifts. Weekday Evening Shift (1:30pm – 10pm). Weekend Day Shift (8am – 4:30pm) or Weekend Evening Shift (1:30pm – 10pm). Salary Range - $17.00-20.00
SUD Counselor, Weekends
Will be responsible for providing supervision and care in accordance with Tully Hill policies to patients seeking inpatient treatment for substance use disorders. Job duties include performing essential counseling functions, conducting patient education regarding substance use disorders, group counseling, orientation activities, basis crisis response, conducting luggage and room searches, conducting safety and security rounds of the facility and grounds in accordance with established schedule, reporting and record keeping. Will work collaboratively with all departments to achieve the best outcomes for patients and families. Associate’s degree in human services preferred. CASAC-Trainee, CASAC or other NYS QHP certification preferred. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorders and 12-Step philosophy preferred. Part Time or Per Diem. Must be available Saturdays and/or Sundays. Day 7:30am – 4pm or 8am – 4:30pm / Eve 12:30pm – 9pm or 1:30pm – 10pm. Salary Range - $18.00-24.00
Admission Specialist
Responsible for facilitating and coordinating the admission process by conducting the initial telephone screening, ascertaining insurance coverage, facilitating referrals, scheduling evaluation appointments, assessing and evaluating potential patients, contacting payers to obtain treatment authorization, communicating patient financial responsibilities, interviewing patients’ family members or agencies to gather collateral information and documenting pertinent patient information into electronic medical record. Will work collaboratively with all departments to achieve the best outcomes for patients and families. Associate’s degree in human services preferred. CASAC-Trainee certification or above or other NYS Qualified Health Professional preferred. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorder, 12-Step philosophy and knowledge of commercial insurance preferred. Full Time or Part Time. Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm. Additional hours may be required occasionally for admissions in process. Salary Range - $19.00-24.00
Qualified individuals must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Strong written and verbal communication skills and EMR skills are required. Must ensure quality, timeliness and accuracy of documentation to ensure compliance with CARF standards, NYS OASAS regulations, other applicable State and Federal regulations, referral source and insurance contract requirements.

Salary Range -
The salary range is provided in accordance with NYS law and is based on Tully Hill’s good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting. Tully Hill considers factors including, but not limited to, the position and associated responsibilities, market and business considerations, as well as the candidate’s education/training, credentials, and work experience.
