Tully Hill is accepting applications for individuals to join our team as a Counselor Assistant. Will be responsible for providing supervision and care in accordance with Tully Hill policies to patients seeking inpatient treatment for substance use disorders. Job duties include supervising patient activities, conducting patient education regarding substance use disorder, orientation activities, basis crisis response, conducting luggage and room searches, conducting safety and security rounds of the facility and grounds in accordance with established schedule, reporting and record keeping. Must be available to work weekday evenings and/or weekend shifts. Full time or Part Time. Weekday Evening Shift (1:30pm – 10pm). Weekend Day Shift (8am – 4:30pm) or Weekend Evening Shift (1:30pm – 10pm).
Qualified individuals must have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Strong written and verbal communication skills and EMR skills required. Must ensure quality, timeliness and accuracy of documentation to ensure compliance with CARF standards, NYS regulations, other applicable State and Federal regulations, referral sources and insurance contract requirements. Demonstrable knowledge of substance use disorder and 12-Step philosophy preferred. Minimum HS diploma. Enrolled in 350 CASAC program. Completion of one-time training requirements upon hire.

The salary range is provided in accordance with NYS law and is based on Tully Hill’s good faith belief of what is accurate at the time of posting. Tully Hill considers factors including, but not limited to, the position and associated responsibilities, market and business considerations, as well as the candidate’s education/training, credentials, and work experience.
