Superintendent

Role Description The Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in Central MS, responsible for overseeing field operations for Data Center projects in regards to door, frame and hardware scope. This role coordinates daily jobsite activities, including scheduling crews, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that installations of doors, related products meet quality standards and project specifications. The Superintendent monitors project progress, resolves onsite issues, and enforces safety protocols and company policies. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting plans and specifications, verifying material deliveries, conducting inspections, and communicating with project managers, general contractors, and clients to keep work on schedule and within scope. The role also involves documenting jobsite activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting continuous improvement in installation processes and customer satisfaction.

• Candidates should possess skills in quality control, inspection of installations, and adherence to safety standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in communication, collaboration with project teams, and customer service with clients and contractors.
• Relevant qualifications include prior experience as a superintendent, foreperson, or construction lead.
• Relevant qualifications include familiarity with construction site safety regulations, and the ability to enforce safe work practices.
• Relevant qualifications include proficiency with basic office and project management software, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel between job sites as needed.
• Experience working with commercial construction projects and knowledge of industry best practices are highly beneficial.
