Summary:
The primary role of the Sanitation Technician is to ensure overall facility sanitation in compliance with quality control standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble production, blending and grinding equipment.
- Clean and sanitize processing equipment utilizing SOPs, proper chemicals and equipment.
- Ensure proper dilution and application of chemicals.
- Document sanitation procedures on appropriate forms.
- Clean and sanitize areas of the facility to include floors, bathrooms, warehouses, etc.
- Continually monitor equipment cleanliness to ensure product safety and quality.
- Follow all GMPs and company rules as depicted in the employee handbook and SOPs.
- Operate in a safe manner during all activities and advise supervision of any safety or security issues or breeches.

To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- May be required to stoop and or climb as needed.
- Must be able to operate production equipment to facilitate cleaning.
