What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator Floater position at TULKOFF FOOD PRODUCTS OHIO LLC?
Summary:
The primary role of this position is to operate line equipment and transfer finished products off the production floor.
Primary Responsibilities:
The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Operate production line equipment without supervision
- Operate date coders and labelers
- Assist in line change -overs and set-ups
- Police work area and machinery as needed
- Maintain a clean work area by sweeping, mopping floors and wiping down machinery as needed and at the end of shift.
- Monitor and report on food quality and safety issues.
- Continually monitor the facility for security measures or breeches.
- Responsible for insuring proper packaging, coding, labeling an pallet configuration of shipments.
- Act in a safe manner at all times and advise supervision of any safety issues.
- Responsible for all HACCP, quality and production documentation applicable to the position.
- Assist other departments as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications:
To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- At least 1 year prior machine operation experience preferred
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- May be required to stoop and or climb as needed.
