Summary:
The Pricing Support Specialist plays a key part in ensuring pricing accuracy and consistency across all customer accounts and internal systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update customer pricing files, including contract pricing and promotional pricing.
- Accurately load and manage pricing data in ERP systems and customer portals.
- Analyze pricing discrepancies and assist in resolving pricing-related issues with internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure timely and accurate pricing implementation.
- Prepare reports and analysis related to pricing activity and performance.
- Support audits and reviews of pricing structures to ensure compliance and profitability.
- Monitor expiration dates on customer pricing and assist in renewal or revision processes.
- Assist with pricing simulations, scenario planning, and margin analysis as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and maintaining data integrity across multiple systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in a manufacturing or food industry setting preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Ross, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in pricing, data entry, or analytical role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
