Required Skills and Experience of the Expert Systems Engineer
- US Citizenship
- US Government issued Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering with 18 Exp. in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics
OR
PhD degree in Engineering with 10 Exp. in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics - Demonstrated experience with the following:
- Integrated Protection Strategy (IPS)
- Space situational awareness, space-based sensors, and threat analysis
- Dealing with data and data sources that exist at multiple security domains
- external threats against sensitive operations
- Physics Models, Assessment of Conservative/Non-conservative forces, uncertainty/confidence estimation, space weather effects, break-up events, and conjunction analysis techniques
- Space Object Measurement and Identification
- Supporting MP or AF SPO, CAP/SAP architecture
- Model-based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages (DODAF, System Architect, Cameo, Rational, SysML etc)
Salary : $165,000 - $185,000
