Front Desk Receptionist / Office Manager (Bilingual – Spanish Preferred)
We are seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Receptionist / Office Manager to join our outpatient physical therapy clinic. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish preferred), has experience in a medical or physical therapy setting, and is knowledgeable in medical billing and insurance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently
- Verify insurance benefits, obtain authorizations, and collect copays
- Handle incoming calls, texts, and patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Assist with medical billing tasks including claim submission, payment posting, and follow-ups on denials
- Coordinate with therapists and staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage front office workflow and maintain an organized environment
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Previous experience in a physical therapy or medical office setting
- Knowledge of medical billing, insurance verification, and authorizations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic computer skills
