Substance Abuse & Behavioral Health Treatment Center
Tulip Hill Healthcare is seeking a professional, compassionate, and organized Admissions Coordinator to join our team at a substance abuse and behavioral health treatment center in Brentwood, TN. The Admissions Coordinator serves as one of the first points of contact for prospective clients and referral sources, helping guide individuals through the admissions process with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-assessments and intake screenings for prospective clients
- Coordinate transportation arrangements and confirm admission dates/times
- Communicate with clients, families, and referral sources regarding the admissions process
- Enter prospective client information into electronic databases and maintain accurate records
- Generate reports and maintain documentation as required
- Make outbound calls and send admissions-related correspondence
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth admissions processes
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Team-oriented with a willingness to cross-train and learn new processes
- Knowledge of addiction treatment and behavioral health services preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, healthcare admissions, or a related field preferred
- Valid Tennessee Driver’s License required
- Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed
