Job Description
Primary Purpose:
Assist teacher(s) in preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Assist campus administrators as needed. Work under supervision of certified teacher(s) and campus administrators.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED
Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Meet requirements as provided in federal regulations (NCLB)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work well with special needs children
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to perform clerical duties including file organization and management, word processing and data entry
Experience:
Some experience working with special needs children (preferred)
Some experience working in a clerical position (preferred)
