Job Description
The Clinical Case Manager works with the mental health programs and functions of the Tulane University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to deliver comprehensive mental health and lifetime wellness services. This position is responsible for providing case management services by: assisting students to reliably connect to community providers and resources; coordinating referrals between university, community, state, regional, and nationwide service providers; triaging clients through brief clinical assessments to determine level of care and disposition; intervening with students in crisis and providing support, resources, and information; contacting insurance companies; keeping an up-to-date database of community referrals; providing individual counseling, group counseling, and outreach as needed maintaining a successful case management system.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology or a related behavioral health field
- Current Licensed Professional Counselor, PLPC, LCSW or other mental health therapist license recognized by the State of Louisiana (or the ability to obtain within 30 days of the start date)
- One year of experience with direct patient care, case management and psychosocial issues of adults Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 2 years direct experience providing case management, brief assessment/triage, and crisis intervention services.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with collegiate student-athletes.
- Experience working in a university counseling center.
- Experience and expertise working with college students who have marginalized identities or historically underutilize mental health services.
