Tulane University School of Medicine seeks a dedicated and academically oriented Clinical Instructor to join the Deming Department of Medicine. This is a full-time, salaried, non-tenure clinical track appointment. The role includes clinical service, teaching responsibilities, and participation in residency education within the Internal Medicine Residency Program. International applicants are welcome to apply.

Rank: Instructor (Clinical Track)
Employment Term: 36-months
Start Date: No later than June 21, 2026. contingent on successful credentialing, onboarding, and J-1 waiver and H1-B visa acquisition (if applicable).
Includes one year Chief Resident appoinment and subsequent two year appointment as clinical faculty either in the primary care setting or as an academic hospitalist.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care in General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Palliative Medicine at University Medical Center New Orleans.
- Contribute to resident and medical student education through supervision, didactic teaching, and curriculum engagement.
- Participate in scholarly or quality improvement initiatives as aligned with the mission of the Department of Medicine.
- Maintain required credentials, licensure, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support excellent patient care and trainee experience.
