DEPARTMENT: CEO Office
JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for the efficient and effective management of all operations and resources in the division. The CAO is responsible for the management of day-to-day operations including personnel management; planning, budgeting, and forecasting; policy development and compliance. Ensure high quality products and/or services to tribal members and the Tulalip community with emphasis on promoting Tulalip as a Sovereign nation, as well as a highly professional, culturally vibrant, and healthy community. The CAO position will provide executive leadership and oversight for service-oriented divisions, including education, family advocacy, elder services, housing, and related departments.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Education, Public Administration, Human/Social Services, Organizational Leadership, or related field. *Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year for year basis.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
- Ten (10) years of progressively increasing responsibility in operations management including but not limited to personnel, policy compliance, and financial management creating and maintaining budgets.
- Five (5) years of complex project management involving grants & contracts.
- Prior experience in strategic planning and execution.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
- Must be an enrolled Tulalip Tribal Member
- WA State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance Required)
- No serious violations regarding disciplinary actions or termination for cause in the last five (5) years.
- Must complete a presentation as a component of the interview process.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-time position.
