Responsibilities
- Cold calling, prospecting, and building your own book of business from the ground up.
- Hunting new shippers and building lasting relationships with clients and carriers.
- Negotiating rates and closing deals. This is a commission-driven role and you earn what you put in.
- Tracking your pipeline in Hubspot and staying on top of your numbers.
- Keeping tabs on market trends and knowing what your competitors are doing.
Qualifications
- Money motivated. You want uncapped earning potential and you're not afraid of rejection.
- Outbound sales experience. You know how to cold call, follow up, and close.
- A fun personality. Clients remember you, coworkers like you, and you don't take yourself too seriously.
- Freight experience or a book of business is a major plus, but we'll train the right person.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, around the clock industry where deals don't wait for business hours.
- Strong communicator on the phone, over email, and in person.
- Must be able to commute to Grand Rapids, MI 49503. This is a hybrid role.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $41,500.00 - $150,000.00 per year
