This position is for a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner for a blended occupational health and student health department. The nurse practitioner (NP) provides (1) routine ambulatory care. (2) occupational health services. Services are provided under the supervision of a nurse practitioner, the Boston site manager.

Works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to meet the medical needs of students, faculty, and staff, including evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries, disease prevention, health promotion, and routine primary care services. Mental health services for students are provided through a mix of on-site and virtual consultations.

What You'll Do:
Essential Functions:
- Evaluates, manages, and treats common ambulatory conditions.
- Evaluates, manages, treats and surveils occupational related conditions.
- Maintains accurate clinical records. Provides privacy and confidentiality to inquiries and access to personal medical records and information.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant nursing practices, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality patient care. May be asked to provide nursing services as needed.

Basic Requirements:
- A Master of Science degree in nursing and at least 3-5 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care setting, such as: emergency department, primary care, and student or occupational health
- License to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Massachusetts (must be eligible to obtain NP licensure in Maine)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in inter-professional groups.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and healthcare technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to and knowledge of diversity, inclusion, and equity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Massachusetts workers’ compensation law, HIPAA, OSHA, and ADA.
- Experience in reproductive health and gender affirming care.
- MA controlled substance prescribing license.
- DEA prescribing authorization in MA.
- Prior experience in University or College Health setting.
Salary : $106,100 - $159,100
