What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pulmonary Hypertension Fellow position at Tufts Physician Organization?
Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts is currently offering a one-year advanced fellowship in Pulmonary Vascular Disease and Pulmonary Hypertension.
The Pulmonary Hypertension fellow will be part of the Pulmonary Hypertension Center. The successful candidate will serve ¼ of the year as a staff intensivist and the remainder working with faculty PH specialists evaluating new referrals, participating in the ongoing management of PH patients in PH clinics and the inpatient service, performing right heart catheterizations, acute vasodilator testing, and Level 3 Cardiopulmonary Tests, as well as participating in PH research. The Fellow will also have the opportunity to get experience with management of CTEPH patients, lung transplant evaluations and gaining skills in cardiac ultrasound on an elective basis. The Fellow will attend at least one annual meeting of a Pulmonary Specialty Society and the Annual Tufts PH Symposium.

Graduate of a Pulmonary and Critical Fellowship Program and be
BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

The salary range for this position is $102,885.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
