Inside & Outside Sales – Luxury Hand-Knotted Rugs
Location: Portland Showroom, Portland, OR
Reports To: Showroom Manager | Full-Time

Our Portland showroom serves the Pacific Northwest design community with deep product knowledge, customization expertise, and elevated service.
Role OverviewThe Showroom Account Manager is responsible for generating sales through interior design trade accounts, specification-driven residential and commercial projects, and retail clients. This role combines inside and outside sales and is based primarily in the Portland showroom. The ideal candidate has prior experience selling luxury home furnishings and maintains strong relationships within the design community.
Key Responsibilities· Grow and manage interior design trade accounts and specification-based projects
· Leverage and expand an existing network of designers, architects, and industry partners through proactive outreach, product presentations, and utilization of Tufenkian promotional materials
· Advise clients on product selection, customization, pricing, and lead times
· Build and maintain a deep knowledge of all Tufenkian products with an eagerness to learn as new developments occur
· Manage the sales process from inquiry through delivery and installation
· Deliver a refined, welcoming showroom experience
· Prepare quotes, specifications, and sales documentation
· Maintain CRM records and follow-up
· Provide client and market feedback to design department and company leadership to help inform new production
· Support showroom merchandising and presentation
Qualifications• Experience selling to the high-end or luxury market
• Background in home furnishings, rugs, textiles, furniture, or décor
• Interior design trade relationships preferred
• Residential and commercial specification experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• CRM and basic computer proficiency
Physical Requirements• Ability to lift and move rugs and samples
• Comfortable navigating the showroom and assisting with setup
