This Program Support Assistant, PSA, position is in the office of Home Telehealth (HT). The PSA, works closely with the HT CNM or designee by managing, directing, overseeing and administering numerous complex technical, administrative, and analytical functions, managing communication and coordination of clinical/operational services to meet department objectives related to HT, care coordination and other programs under the supervision of the HT CNM.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. - Provide administrative and programmatic support to the HT team to ensure efficient daily operations and continuity of Veteran care services.
- Monitor and manage program alerts, consultations, and workload assignments.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data entry within electronic systems while ensuring completeness and compliance with documentation requirements.
- Assist with equipment coordination, inventory tracking, and reporting needs.
- Support timely workflow completion to promote efficient Veteran care delivery.
- Supports clinical staff by preparing reports, gathering data, monitoring performance metrics, and assisting with program audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Serve as ADPAC support for Telehealth staff, including coordination of technical and access-related requests, as assigned.
- Ensure adherence to privacy, information security, and VA policies related to patient information and telehealth services.
- Supports supply management activities including ordering office supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring availability of program resources, as assigned.
- Provide timekeeping support and assist with timecard review and related administrative processes, as assigned.
