MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Elementary Certificate with Early Childhood Education Endorsement
OR
Arizona Early Childhood Education Certificate (Birth through 3rd Grade)
OR
Arizona Special Education Certificate with Early Childhood Education Endorsement
AND
CURRENT Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Experience with Pre-K early learning standards implementations.
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED UPON HIRE:
Provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
COMMENTS:
Effective: 2026-2027 School year
Location: Community Schools/Multiple Locations - District-wide
FTE: Varies. Typical Teacher FTE 1.0, 7.5 hours per day.
WORK CALENDAR: 9.5 months – 207 days (212 days for new to district teachers)

- Borton Magnet Elementary School – 22nd St & Park Ave Area - 1.0 FTE - 7.5 hours per day
- C.E. Rose K-8 - Irvington & 12th Ave Area - 1.0 FTE - 7.5 hours per day
- Robins K-8 School - Sweetwater & Silverbell Area - 1.0 FTE - 7.5 hours per day
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on the salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
