What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Manager position at Tucson Rubberized Coatings?

Tucson Rubberized Coatings is a fast-growing Paint & Coatings manufacturer and retailer in Arizona. As our Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for upholding company inventory levels in by manufacturing needs. Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment overseeing multiple shifts of warehouse employees using heavy machinery. Driving a customer first presentation as expected companywide from all divisions. Auditing and meeting continuous training standards for all warehouse employees The ideal candidate will have a strong background in in warehouse and/ or manufacturing management, strong safety focus, and exceptional organization skills. With our rapid growth, comes the need for dedicated and knowledgeable business professionals.


Primary Responsibilities: • Supervise activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials

• Plan, develop, or implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities

• Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets, or equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs, or replacements

• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes (customer sales, order management, deliveries)

• Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, or salvaging products or materials

• Monitor operations to ensure staff comply with policies, procedures, safety rules, or regulations • Monitor inventory levels of raw material products and finished goods in warehouses

• Establish or monitor reorder points for all products based on manufacturing performance measurement systems

• Prepare and manage departmental budgets

• Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, or budgets for increasing efficiencies or improving processes

• Communicate across multiple divisions to coordinate warehouse activities (production, sales, deliveries, replenishment)

• Maintain reports, process documentation, heavy equipment maintenance, or training and safety records

• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external systems or processes • Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak performance periods and issue work assignments

• Calendar and scheduling software — Scheduling software

• Route navigation software — OptimoRoute

• Computer based training software — ADP Total Source; Microsoft Training

• Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software —Warehouse management system WMS

• Equipment Maintenance —determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. • Electronic mail software —Microsoft Outlook

• Office suite software —Microsoft Office

• Presentation software —Microsoft PowerPoint

• Spreadsheet software —Microsoft Excel

• Word processing software —Microsoft Word

• Process mapping and design software — Microsoft Visio



Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or operations management & 3 years of management experience or 6 years of warehouse experience in a leadership role • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role, ideally in operations, warehouse or manufacturing • Proven track record of successful and efficient process implementations • In-depth knowledge and experience in large scale material organization • Strong social, communication, and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
