Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Ophthalmic Technician role located in Tucson, AZ. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will assist ophthalmologists in delivering exceptional eye care. Key responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests, assisting with procedures, scribing during patient consultations, and supporting patient education and care.
Qualifications
- Proficient in fundamental ophthalmology and optometry concepts
- Experience in scribing and documenting detailed patient medical information
- Knowledge of fundus photography and other diagnostic imaging techniques
- Background in medicine or healthcare-related fields
- Strong understanding of ophthalmology practices and procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
- Prior experience as an Ophthalmic Technician
- Fluent in Spanish
