Mechanical Assembler - Princeton MN

Tucs Equipment is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join the team in Princeton, MN. Produce finished goods by assembling parts and sub-assemblies per blueprints. Knowledge of controls and instrumentation, equipment maintenance, manufacturing experience, mechanical inspection tools, tooling, and safety with emphasis on quality and efficiency. Previous assembly or manufacturing preferred. This position also offers career growth potential. After adequate training and problem solving skills are demonstrated, an opportunity to transition to a field service technician may be offered to the right employee.

Requirements:

· Ability to read and interpret detailed prints, sketches, layouts, specs, etc.

· Ability to use power tools and hand tools

· Ability to lift to 50lbs

. Good mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills a plus

. Basic knowledge and experience in plumbing and electrical

Assembler Duties:

· Prepares work to be completed by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists

· Gathers and prepares parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials

· Completes cleaning of parts following inspections of parts and pre-assembly

· Aptitude to correctly position and install parts and sub-assembly by using templates or reading measurements

· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with the company’s procedures, rules, and regulations

· Contributes to team workload when needed to maximize efficiency

· Ability to fulfill other duties as assigned.

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 to 10 hours day shift

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
