Conflicts Analyst
Cleveland, OH | Hybrid (Some In-Office Training Required; 2–4 Office Visits Monthly)
Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join our team in the Cleveland office. This role will support the firm’s new business intake process by conducting conflict searches, analyzing potential issues, and ensuring compliance with ethical and firm standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience working with conflicts or intake systems in a law firm environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct conflict-of-interest searches for new clients, matters, and lateral hires using the firm’s conflicts database
- Review and analyze conflict reports to identify potential issues and escalate as necessary
- Collaborate with attorneys, management, and staff to resolve conflict inquiries efficiently and accurately
- Maintain thorough records of searches and resolutions in accordance with firm policies and procedures
- Assist in the maintenance and accuracy of the firm’s client and matter database
- Support process improvements and best practices in the conflicts and new business intake workflow
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Prior law firm experience required; experience in conflicts, new business intake, or risk management strongly preferred
- Experience with Aderant or other conflicts/intake management software strongly preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation
The target compensation range for this role is $50,000 to $70,000 per year, but final compensation will be determined based on years of experience and relevant skill set.
