Job Summary
A valet is responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles for guests, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a positive experience for Members and guests at Tuckaway Country Club.
Essentials Functions
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide directions or information about the establishment's amenities.
- Safely park and retrieve guests' vehicles in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Manage the flow of traffic in valet lanes, ensuring a smooth and organized parking process.
- Maintain accurate records of parked vehicles, including their specific locations and guest information for quick retrieval.
Accountability
- Atmosphere is likely to be warm and humid and heavy with odors characteristic of locker rooms.
- Danger of slipping on wet floors.
- Reports to Assistant Clubhouse Manager.
Qualification Standards
- Driving Skills: Excellent driving skills to handle various types of vehicles, including manual and automatic cars.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests professionally and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented to accurately record information related to vehicle conditions and parking locations.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle customer issues, complaints, or emergencies effectively.
