Role Description
This is an on-site volunteer role for a Chairperson at the Tuckahoe Housing Authority, located in Tuckahoe, NY. The Chairperson will lead and oversee board meetings, collaborate with board members and staff to ensure the organization’s mission is being fulfilled, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal housing guidelines. Additional responsibilities include liaising with community stakeholders, reviewing and approving strategic decisions, handling governance matters, and providing organizational leadership and direction.
