Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Comfort Advisor at Tuck & Howell Plumbing, Heating & Air, located in Duncan, SC. The Comfort Advisor will be responsible for consulting with prospective and existing clients to understand and meet their HVAC needs. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating customer requirements, conducting home comfort assessments, advising on heating, ventilation, and cooling solutions, preparing and presenting proposals, and closing sales. You will also collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless integration of customer solutions and promote a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with clients
- Knowledge or expertise in HVAC products and services, with a strong understanding of residential and light commercial systems
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to assess client needs and tailor custom solutions
- Technical aptitude to effectively explain equipment specifications and features
- Proficient in using CRM tools and other digital systems for tracking leads and managing customer information
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently
- Previous experience in HVAC, sales, or a related field is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications are a plus
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer needs
