Speech and Language Pathologist
Position Overview:
Tucci Learning Solutions is seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality, home-based therapy services. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable working independently in family environments, and passionate about supporting clients in their natural settings.
As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will provide expert consultation services to our company's clients. Your role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders to help clients achieve their communication goals.This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients’ communication and daily functioning in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in clients.
Intervention Development: Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices to address clients' specific needs.
Consultation Services: Provide expert consultation to clients, support to caregivers, and educators.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaboration: Engage in professional collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, while maintaining autonomy and control over your work methods.
Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Preferred Experience:
- Pediatric or early intervention experience.
- Bilingual abilities (a plus but not required).
- Familiarity with AAC devices or alternative communication supports.
- Experience with family coaching models.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Proven experience in assessing and treating speech and language disorders. Experience in a consulting role is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Comfortable working in varied home environments.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
