Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Utility Worker to join our team. This role is essential in supporting daily operations by maintaining equipment, assisting with facility maintenance, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of performing a variety of tasks to support our operational needs.
Duties
- Be part of a crew that mobilizes to new sites everyday to complete water, sewer, drainage repairs and installations.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and minor repairs, to ensure equipment functions properly.
- Use equipment such as excavators, skidsteers, saws, jetting equipment, locating equipment, sewer cameras,
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of worksite to adhere to safety standards.
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or malfunctions immediately.
Experience
- Prior experience with excavating and pipe preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of excavating, pipe, and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in facility maintenance and electrical troubleshooting within a dynamic work environment.
- All crew members have the ability to move into higher postitions. Crew members are encouraged to take company paid for CDL training.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
