Job Description
Production Operator
Reports To: Team Leader, Shift Supervisor
We are an established manufacturing company in the Brighton area seeking to fill several full-time positions in our production department. These are entry-level positions with room for advancement.
Responsibilities Include:
- Must be able to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
- Work independently and produce at an acceptable pace.
- Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assembling components while following work instructions.
- Update daily production sheet with scrap and rework information.
- Notify supervisor of possible quality alerts and production stoppages.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent that permits the employee to effectively communicate and perform duties, assignments, and responsibilities on the job.
- Basic mathematic skills- adding and subtracting
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety guidelines.
- Ability to deal with a variety of job assignments.
- Excellent Attendance
- Great Personality in general, especially in regards to teamwork.
- Ability to work weekends and extended hours when needed.
- Must have reliable transportation.
