Role Overview
This is a full-time, hybrid Social Media Content Creator role based in Carlsbad, CA.
We’re looking for a highly creative, social-first Content Creator to help bring the Tubby Todd brand to life across organic social channels.
This role is for someone who lives and breathes content. Someone who can spot trends quickly, create engaging videos, and understands how to tell stories that connect emotionally while driving engagement.
You’ll own the creation of platform-native content across TikTok, Instagram and Facebook while collaborating closely with the Social Channel Specialist under the strategic guidance of our Content Director.
What You’ll Do:
Organic Content Creation
- Concept, shoot, edit, and publish engaging short-form social content
- Create platform-native content optimized for engagement and share-ability
- Execute on trends, community moments, evergreen product education and brand storytelling
Campaign Launch Content
- Bring product launches and campaigns to life in compelling social content
- Develop creator-style, lifestyle, and founder-led content
- Partner with the Community team on event capture community campaigns
Creator UGC Optimization
- Edit and optimize creator and UGC assets for owned channels
- Adapt content across multiple platforms and formats
- Improve hooks, pacing, captions, and storytelling structure
Creative Ideation
- Pitch new concepts, series, and content formats regularly
- Experiment with trends and enhanced platform features
Performance Iteration
- Analyze top-performing content and engagement trends
- Iterate based on performance signals and audience behavior
- Balance brand-forward thinking with performance-driven content creation
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years experience in content creation or social media
- Strong video shooting and editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Splice, etc.)
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and social storytelling
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and social media platform best practices
- Experience with social media strategy, analytics, and campaign performance optimization
- Previous experience in skincare, lifestyle, or community-oriented brands is a plus
- Creative, fast-moving, and highly adaptable
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera
- Passion for creating content people genuinely want to watch and share
