Tubbesing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support our day-to-day accounting operations. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting reporting activities that help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working across multiple systems and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer remittances on various platforms.
- Create customer invoices and credit memos utilizing Salesforce tasks and QuickBooks Online.
- Monitor company bank accounts and reconcile payments within QuickBooks Online and Salesforce.
- Process paper checks received at the office and ensure accurate recording of payments.
- Manage weekly accounts payable activities, including reviewing bills due for payment, obtaining approvals, and resolving discrepancies with the sales team.
- Conduct biweekly accounts receivable follow-ups with customers and communicate outstanding balances with territory sales representatives.
- Complete new vendor setup forms, banking documentation, and related administrative accounting paperwork.
- Generate job-specific profit and loss reports as requested by the sales team.
- Maintain customer and job reporting within QuickBooks Online to support accurate financial reporting and year-end accounting processes.
- Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable role.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online preferred.
- Familiarity with Bill.com and Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- High degree of accuracy and professionalism when handling financial information.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation for this role will be between $50,000 - $55,000 and an attractive benefits package, including:
