Our Durant facility features more than 150,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space, utilizing advanced weld mills, cold draw benches, automation systems, and precision engineering processes to produce premium stainless steel and nickel alloy tubing in over 25 specialty alloys.

What You'll Do
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, implementing automation solutions, and supporting equipment reliability and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement industrial automation and process improvement projects.
- Support manufacturing operations through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain mechanical designs, layouts, and documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Work with industrial control systems, electrical wiring, sensors, and automation equipment.
- Assist in the design and optimization of piping systems, fluid handling systems, and process equipment.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-driven manufacturing applications, to support operational improvements.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in industrial automation, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering.
- Experience with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
- Understanding of industrial controls, electrical wiring, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with P&IDs, piping systems, fluid transfer systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metals manufacturing, process manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMI systems, sensors, and automated production equipment.
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies, data analytics, or AI applications in manufacturing.
- Project management experience.
