FUNCTIONS AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The PRODUCTION MANAGER leads the production process ensuring safety and efficiency of manufacturing processes, quality of products and on time deliveries.
This position is responsible for the following main duties:
- Oversee technical management, supervision and control of industrial production processes
- Oversee planning and organizing production schedules
- Ensure safety and continuous improvement
- Analyze production data, build reports, follow KPIs and ensure achievement of targets
- Promote a company culture that encourages top performance
- Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
- Support communication through production teams and managers
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Assist HR with recruiting
Education & Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management or related field, or more than 15 years in management of industrial manufacturing of metal products
- Experience in processes and procedures in cold drawn tubing industry, working with Stainless Steels and Nickel Alloys
- is strongly desired
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years in management of industrial manufacturing of metal products in a medium to big size company
