Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center is looking for enthusiastic and responsible Conestoga Sports Instructors to lead preschool and youth sports programming. We are seeking community-minded, safety-focused individuals who are passionate about recreation and enjoy working with our youngest participants of all abilities and backgrounds.

PART-TIME VARIABLE (PT): Part-time variable (PT) employees work less than 29 hours per week on average annually. However, they have the option of working additional hours during periods like summer or winter months. PT are eligible to receive benefits such as Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, Compassionate Leave, and Inclement Weather Pay (if required to work).
SEASONAL: Seasonal employment is temporary and allows employees to work only during certain times of the year, up to 40 hours per week for a maximum duration of six (6) consecutive months. Seasonal employees are eligible to receive benefits such as Holiday Pay, Compassionate Leave, and Inclement Weather Pay (if required to work). Effective February 15, 2026, seasonal employees will also be eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (PTO)!

Scheduling
- Hours may vary and are based on program need.
- Staff are typically scheduled between 2 to 29 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with opportunities Sunday through Saturday.
- Part-time employees have variable schedules and may work less than 1,560 hours per year.
- Instructor I: No teaching experience required, must love working with people of all ages and abilities; be able to work inside and outside; and be at least 16 years of age. The hiring range for this position is $19.19 to $21.63, based on experience and internal equity. The full hourly range for this job classification is $19.19 - $21.63. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September.
- Instructor II: Must have at least 1 year of experience in leading and instructing general classes and be at least 16 years of age. The hiring range for this position is $21.15 to $23.85, based on experience and internal equity. The full hourly range for this job classification is $21.15 - $23.85. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September.
- Instructor III: Must have over 2 years of experience and specialized training in the assigned program area; and be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license. The hiring rate for this position is $25.71. The full hourly range for this job classification is $25.71 to $28.99. Staff may be eligible for a merit increase at the end of September.
