Dog Daycare Attendant

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a reliable, energetic, and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant. This active, hands-on position involves ensuring every dog in our care enjoys a safe, stimulating, and happy experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage group play sessions while maintaining a safe and friendly environment
• Monitor dog behavior, quickly identifying signs of stress, illness, or aggression
• Feed, hydrate, and administer medications according to owner instructions
• Keep all play areas, kennels, and facility spaces clean and sanitized throughout the day
• Assist with grooming tasks such as baths and brushing when needed
• Communicate with pet owners by providing updates on their dog’s behavior, activities, and general well-being
• Support check-in and check-out processes, ensuring records and notes are accurate and current
• Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with fellow team members for smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with dogs (e.g., daycare, boarding, grooming, shelter, or veterinary clinic) preferred
• Knowledge of canine behavior and confidence in reading body language
• Comfortable working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active for extended periods
• Dependable, observant, and team-oriented with strong attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
