Description:Senior Industrial Hygiene Technician – Industrial Hygiene DivisionTTI Environmental, Inc. is an integrated environmental services contractor and consulting firm. TTI services government, industrial, commercial, academic, financial, and private clients nationwide and is headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey. TTI is seeking a full-time Senior Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our Industrial Hygiene Division. This is a hybrid position – working in the field with occasional trips to TTI’s Moorestown office. Facility based assignments are anticipated for this role. Current Industrial Hygiene certifications are required for this role; candidate should have related project experience with Asbestos, Lead Paint, and Indoor Air Quality investigation.ResponsibilitiesInspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air qualityConduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, right to know, and moldPerform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projectsMaintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipmentTechnical report writing and interpretation of analytical dataTimeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies are vitalAssignments are of varying complexity and under direction of a project managerSkills & QualificationsKnowledge of general building mechanical systems and building constructionHigh School or Mechanical/Trade School DiplomaAssociate or B.S. in Environmental Science preferredExhibit clear, concise verbal and written communication skillsGeneral computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeIndependent thinking and self-motivation are essentialRequirementsAsbestos, Lead Paint, and IAQ certifications are requiredMinimum of 4 years’ relative industrial hygiene and field experience is requiredAbility to commute to remote sites as neededWillingness to work limited weekends and second shiftAbility to perform field work and meet physical demandsMust be able to carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment and use laddersWillingness to learn, complete training, and obtain various certificationsValid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening and physicalMust be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipTTI is a growing and dynamic team environment with excellent benefits and advantages.
